Try thinking about it this way... is an artist book created as a variable edition of 10. The book is a 6.5" x 6.5" stiff-leaf bound book covered in Japanese silk. Prints and letterpress were printed on the Pearl by Elisabeth Effron at Orange Lantern Press in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I made this book for my 7-year-old son who was struggling with a desire to do things perfectly or not at all. I could see it effecting his self-image and wanted him to know that daring to try something new and failing is better than not trying it at all. I tried to convey, using simple language, that he could dare greatly and fail or succeed, the experience and all the emotions that came with it would be worth having.
